I have been planning for a while to visit Northern Peru to photograph its fabulous hummingbirds. Usually, I built the trips and travel all by myself but in this case, I decided to enlist the help of a travel agency. Turned out to be a good decision as driving in Peru can be very stressful and local experience is essential for a good and safe trip! I contacted Wilson Diaz from Green Tours Peru and could not be happier with the result. Wilson was very responsive, I had my emails answered usually within a few hours. We had a quick chat to discuss the prospective itinerary and my interests and in just a few days I got a full detailed itinerary with pricing. Another a bit longer chat and all my questions were answered, we agreed on the final details, and the trip was set. The trip went very well. Wilson provided an excellent naturalist guide and a very professional and safe driver. The itinerary turned out to be a very good choice for the first trip to Northern Peru, with a good overview of all hummingbird photography hot spots, although I did modify it on the fly, staying an extra day in the place that I liked the most. All in all, very happy with the trip and Green Tours Peru. Highly recommended!
